Just a few miles outside Vienna lies the cradle of Austria’s long tradition in viticulture – Klosterneuburg, being one of the oldest wine estates in Austria and also one of the largest.
Wine production at the Klosterneuburg Monastery has a over 900 years old tradition during which
the skills and experience were passed on to following generations.
Nowadays, wines from typical Austrian varietals such as Grüner Veltliner and St. Laurent as well as from widely grown grapes such as Riesling and Pinot Noir are produced to the highest standards at the Klosterneuburg Monastery who are recognized by national and international wine experts and lovers.
